Makeout NYC is a creative agency that works on events, advertising, and experiences. They contacted me to help them create props for a TeePublic commercial. I had to create T-shirt designs that were inspired by pop culture icons but also legally distinguishable from those properties. It was wonderful to work with the creative minds at Makeout NYC, they had ideas but also wanted to hear what I thought might be fun to create. I was able to come up with some really crazy concepts like a parody of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles called “Adolescent Surfer Salamanders”. The commercial is funny and stylish. I’m so pleased that I could contribute.
